My love for music and DJing is thanks to my family. I grew up in a house where music was always playing. From Netsky, to Split Enz, to Lorde, I was surrounded by all types of music from a young age.
When the pandemic hit I borrowed my sister's DJ decks and started to teach myself through YouTube videos. As my skills grew, I started to develop my personal style, getting into House music and Drum and Bass. Music Technology class at Mount Aspiring College is where things really took off. I started producing my own music under the alias ‘Samson’.
Since then I have been DJing events and parties all around Wānaka. Now, Après Audio has been launched to deliver professional, high-quality sound and a seamless experience at any event.

No matter how good the sound system is, if the tracks aren't right, the dancefloor won't respond. This is why our pre-event consults are so important. They allow us to nail your vibe every time. From throwbacks, to top 100, to the cutting edge of underground EDM, we have it covered.
Our standard setup consists of two 15-inch tops combined with an 18-inch subwoofer. Our tops have had their internal drivers upgraded for better sound quality and longevity. When combined with our LD Systems ICOA 18 Sub, the system provides more than enough punch for any small to mid-sized event.
Our lighting setup is compact but powerful, featuring butterflies, PARs, strobes, and a laser. Combined with our smoke machine, we can provide a full visual experience to accompany our sound.
Our tops have had their internal drivers upgraded for better sound quality and longevity. The Après Audio sound system is our pride and joy.
